Native American Outreach

Fran O’Brien is a Kiowa-Apache. She and her husband, Tim, lead White Buffalo Ministries, an outreach to Native Peoples. Fran is a representative of All-Tribes, a Christian movement unifying Native Tribes across the US. She is the Director of All-Tribes MO and organizes an annual intercessory event on Prayer Mountain-Branson, MO. We work with Fran to plan Vacation Bible School outreach teams to Native churches in Oklahoma each year. VisionVestors and our team members provide for all the supplies and expenses for these events. You can help!

Dominican Republic

The DR Missions Team of Carie and Rick Bernard with Callie and Tyler Franca serve needs in San Cristobal through The Bread of Life Ministry Center. Poor children receive physical food and faith in Christ. They provide a number of weekly activities and programs to position the children for better lives. You can help this ministry by giving a love gift.

Nepal

Antonio and Graciela Chavez are from Paraguay and serve Jesus in Nepal. They connect with the people through serving special-needs children. They manage a hostel which houses travelers who come to Nepal to climb the Himalayan Mountains. The country is less than 10% Christian. People are responding to the love of Jesus through these compassionate acts.  As the Lord leads, they share the Good News of Jesus in villages. People are coming to faith. You can share in helping with the expenses of their hostel.

  West Africa

We are realizing the benefits of the Ghana Ministry House, which will serve as the ministry base of Grace Covenant International-West Africa. Ghana Missionaries Rob and Lori Mangus live onsite and in October hosted the GCI-West African Conference.  Our leaders from Nigeria, Liberia, Benin, Togo and Ghana were in attendance. The leaders were lodged and the conference was held on the property. We see the Lord’s leading and the future potential of this facility. We are now in the process of renovating the property to better serve our ministry purposes.  Your investment will help us realize the potential of this property.

Construction on this church building was completed in Cotonou, Benin. A thriving congregation meets in this house. We have more church construction projects on the horizon in West Africa.

In April, an attack of evil came against this church in Ghana as someone set fire to it.  It totally destroyed the building and its contents.  Through the compassionate concern of our VV members, new construction has begun.  In October, leaders from the burned church attended our Conference. They expressed their deep gratitude to us for the help to rebuild it.

  Paraguay

Walter Vega, leads our ministry works in Paraguay. Uniquely, he has been approved to teach a reentry program in a women’s prison. They are offered faith and training to lead productive lives as they reenter society. These women are graduates from the program. God is blessing this ministry! Lives are being transformed. You can help by providing    Bibles and training materials.

Jesus:   "I was in prison and you came to visit me. ...Whatever you            did for one of the least of these, you did for me." MT 25:36,40

  Peru

The Christmas Children’s Outreach is an annual event in Iquitos, Peru led by Pastors Amalia (“Abuela”-“Grandma”) and Pedro Urcia. This is their very colorful and talented team. The first week of December, they begin their outreach to 24 locations around Iquitos. They present the Gospel through their activities and characterizations, which includes a small Christmas gift to each child. Nearly 5,000 children will be reached and many will receive Christ. The event spans December 6-24. Our goal is $5,000. Respond quickly as this is time sensitive. You can share in offering the gift of eternal life.

  Leadership Investment

The incredible value of encouragement and equipping to our international leaders cannot be overstated. It elevates their impact in their respective nations and empowers our partnership for the Kingdom of God. Throughout the year, we provide assistance for training conferences, equipment and materials. Your support for ministry leadership enables greater Kingdom fruit. VisionVestors makes it possible for our international leaders to attend our conferences by helping with travel and expenses. These are our West African leaders representing five nations: Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Liberia and Ghana.

  Compassionate Touches

There are ongoing needs across most of the nations where VisionVestors serve. We are drawing out of these resource categories throughout the year. These practical compassionate touches meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Offering our hearts and our hands toward people, centers us in God’s plan to inject hope and provide better futures.

Medical supplies are needed throughout the year to outfit our medical mission teams, medical clinics and programs offered in poor and remote areas with little access to medicine and medical care.  Pregnancy and young mothers’ classes were offered recently in the Dominican Republic

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

A backpack of school supplies gives a child in a poor nation the opportunity to go to school, receive an education and positions them for a better life.

Bibles

Sharing God’s Word and building up faith in people requires them to have a copy of the Bible. In the nations we serve, a “book version” is most helpful.  As we have opportunities, we obtain and distribute Bibles.
