GateWay Training Center
Grand Bahama
The Gateway Training Center will be located on Grand Bahamas. The facility will be for teens and
college age adults to have a cross-cultural missions experience from one week (during school breaks) to a six week summer experience with opportunities to visit other nations in the Bahamas. It will be a multi-functional facility which will include cross-cultural youth discipleship, ministry training conferences and has implications for business equipping as well. It will be a place for teens to get good Christian values beneath their lives in a protected, structured environment while connecting with other cultures through service projects in other nations to increase the Cause of Christ in the Church and the Marketplace.
$40,000 is needed to purchase land and begin construction on the facility. Grace Covenant missionaries Richard and Evie Coffee are making preparations to head to the Bahamas to lead this project. They will be teaming with Grace Covenant Bahamian minister Dr. Jonathan Carey to see this training center built and full of young people. This will give us a beachhead to begin economic development and ministry multiplication in the Bahamas and beyond.
